The Tippmann 98 Custom became one of the most widely-fielded markers in the sport’s history. Introduced in 1998, its inline blowback design and near-indestructible die-cast body made it the default rental and entry-level platform at fields worldwide.

Its modular internals spawned an enormous aftermarket — response triggers, cyclone feed, flatline and apex barrels — making it a favorite for tinkerers and a fixture of woodsball for over a decade.
